Whether tornados, winter storms, or floods, the cost to our economy is immeasurable, as every time a disaster strikes, businesses in its wake are physically and finacially damaged. Our state-of-the-art backup facility is designed to allow central stations to continue their operations during a state of emergency. This central computer center is triple-redundant in cooling, triple-redundant in power sources, and hot-redundant in PBX switching technologies monitoring servers and Internet.

The dual-redundant receivers, computer servers and PBX phone systems can handle monitored accounts and meet the emergency needs of your customers and monitoring staff. The Disaster Recovery Center is housed in a 27,000 square foot facility located in Bay City, Michigan. The computer center containing the backup facility has both a primary and secondary cooling system using glycol-chilled dry and wet redundant air conditioning with an emergency battery backup.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

  • The Disaster Recovery Center provides ongoing support for your business in times of disasters, improving business functions and better public safety for the alarm industry.
  • Clients with a DICE integrated PBX system, will have full failover services to allow for a fully redundant phone failover capacity for their phone switch. This allows our team to fail your switch over to DICE and for DICE to push the calls to your phones within the central or cell phone capacities. This is the first fully redundant Telco infrastructure backup for the alarm industry.
  • Because Quantum-CORE has partnered with the leading Telco providers of lines, there now is a 911 center status for repair, which means that alarm companies will be listed as a 911 center if they qualify. The DR center will automatically move these lines from Telco circuits to DR center circuits, and control them from DICE software in our Disaster Recovery Center. For example, if a circuit goes bad or is cut, the movement from a center to our DR Center will be automatic and completed within seconds and without manual intervention. If, for example, the phone system should become inoperable then all operations such as the automation, the phone system, etc. will continue unscathed.
